Well here we go! This is such an exciting time!
It began May 3rd when we met Megan in Fort Walton Beach, FL at IHOP! After searching for a couple of months for someone to be our gestational carrier after many trials and tribulations God sent us Megan.
(So be truly glad! There is wonderful joy ahead, even though it is necessary for you to endure many trials for a while. These trials are only to test your faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold. So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

We have had a wonderful journey so far and there has not been one delay or one bump in the road. It has truly been a blessing getting to know Megan and becoming great friends!!
As of this Thursday (June 12th) we transferred two beautiful thawed embryos. One of them in the picture is already hatching from the shell; he/she is ready to go and ready to grow or so we pray! The other we were told by the doctor had already expanded and grown more since the time of the picture.
Our pregnancy test date is Monday, June 23rd!! This is going to be one of the longest weeks of my life. Matt will be in MS doing mission work so he will have something to keep his mind busy but I assure you I will be thinking constantly about the pregnancy test in 9 days!! It doesn't seem like a long time but after 9 years of battling infertility and with such beautiful embryos and beautiful dreams ahead it seems like an eternity.
As the week goes on I hope to share more of my thoughts and feelings as we continue to countdown!
