There's been some exciting times lately! Matt and I went to Pensacola on Thursday the (11th) for a growth scan. Both girls are growing like little weeds. Alaina already weighed 2 lbs 15 oz - that's one ounce from being 3 lbs! She was already measuring 30 weeks! Matisyn weighed in at 2 lbs 7 oz - right on target! But she was the stubborn one at the ultrasound. She did not want to turn around so we could see her face and then when she turned once she covered her face up with her arms! At the end of the appointment the perinatologist came in and did some final checks of their hearts and she had finally turned around perfectly so we could see her sweet little face. Next Ultrasound 4 Weeks!
Megan had her first trip to Labor and Delivery this weekend! We came home from church to the phone ringing and it was Megan telling us her story from the morning. She was having some pretty bad back pain; but it definitely was not labor. They suspect she strained a muscle from some activity from the day before and got doctor's orders - NO MORE WORK! It's time to take it easy. Not bedrest, but no more working; and no lifting anything heavier than a gallon of milk.
As of right now our delivery is scheduled for Friday, February 13th. That's the 38 week mark! I think we all feel like they may come a little sooner. But we all know the longer they stay put the better for the girls. Matt and I are being a little greedy and just want them here. :) We've been praying and waiting for 9 1/2 years; you would think two more months wouldn't be that hard of a wait.
WISHING EVERYONE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!!
